Curt Stodghill holds a bachelor degree in political science and business from Maryville College, a law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and a masters of law in taxation from the Levin College of Law at the University of Florida. He is a member of both the South Carolina and Florida Bars. In his 30 years of experience Curt has practiced law with small to medium sized firms and has served as “in house” corporate general counsel. Having started Stodghill Law Firm Chartered in 1998, Curt provides advice and services for business leaders to help them design, grow, and restructure their enterprises — from the smallest start-up to multi-million dollar venture capital funded businesses, and from conception to liquidation.
In addition to acting as legal counsel to his clients, Curt advises in many areas of business activities including business analysis and strategy, acquisitions and dispositions, corporate policy creation, market positioning, valuation, business plans and financial forecasting, and facilitates the integration of other enterprise advisors.
In addition to time spent building a successful business practice, Curt gives generously of his time, talent and financial resources. He serves as a board member or advisor of local charitable organizations.
